Administrative Assistant - Parts Operations

Ziegler CAT has an opening for an Administrative Assistant - Parts Operations position who will support the Parts Operations Manager with reporting, receiving, invoicing and billing of parts transactions. Additional support to the department would include general administrative support and clerical functions. Responsibilities: Validate and manage quantity PO disputesrelated to Parts order class purchase orders Apply miscellaneous charges on unprocessed sales orders Monitor and follow up with uncollected Cash COD charges Manually invoicing delivered sales orders Managing invoice on hold sales orders - obtain customer PO's to process Manually process Vendor ASN product tags as needed E Commerce order management Cash Register support - check processing and daily drawer counting Support daily inventory adjustments resulting from picking exceptions Cross function training and support new employee onboarding Switch board relief as needed Support inventory management efforts as needed Works in a cooperative manner with team and superiors Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; 2 or 4 years of College Degree preferred 1-3 years related experience preferred Personal Attributes: Commitment / Dependability, Learning Orientation, Problem Solving, Efficiency, Attention to Detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel Minimum Physical Requirements: * Standing, sitting, walking, use of hands, talking, hearing This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position. The pay range for this position is $23.29 to $27.91 Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location.
