Position Overview:
In this role, you will support the Marine Innovation team by managing product data, builds, and analysis activities that enable successful development and production execution. You will work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain partners to maintain accurate Bills of Materials, resolve daily operational issues, and support proto@type and production builds. You will apply strong analytical and process-focused skills to improve data quality, reporting, and workflow efficiency across the product lifecycle. You will succeed by balancing attention to detail with responsiveness in a dynamic environment. This role offers broad exposure to cross-functional product development activities and the opportunity to influence how marine innovation programs are executed.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, verify, audit, and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) across proto@type, development, validation, and production phases
Support proto@type, pilot, and production builds by coordinating part availability, work orders, and unreleased components
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project teams to implement changes across the product lifecycle
Serve as a primary point of contact for the engineering team, providing timely issue resolution
Create and maintain change notices using PRS/Windchill and ensure adherence to PDP guidelines
Generate release lists, Non-Production Work Order (NPWO) reports, and build documentation
Perform data analysis, audits, and reporting to support quality assurance objectives
Develop and standardize processes to improve engineering team efficiency
Lead and train in-house and offshore resources on standard work
Assist with ordering, shipping, and coordination of parts for development and testing
Support project leaders with pilot build planning, deviations, and documentation
Work on ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting New Product Development processes or tools
Experience creating, maintaining, and auditing Bills of Materials within an MRP or ERP environment
Working knowledge of MRP systems and production build processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
Experience with Product Data Management tools such as PTC Windchill preferred
Knowledge of reporting, data analysis, or systems such as SQL, Power BI, MAPICS, or AS400 preferred
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Ability to work with domestic and international partners
Travel up to 15% as needed

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $60,000 to $80,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
