rDescription

rServes as a communications specialist in the Office of Advancement and on the Donor Relations team. Produces compelling communications that support donor engagement and demonstrate the impact of philanthropy as part of a comprehensive fundraising strategy.

rThis is a full-time, benefits eligible, salaried position with a hiring range of \$56,702 - \$66,815 per year.

rCore Responsibilities:

Conceptualizes and produces compelling gift impact reports for

individual donors and affinity groups; conducts research, gathers relevant content, collaborates with campus partners, and interviews faculty, staff, and students as necessary to execute assigned projects. r

Writes personalized gift acknowledgement letters for the president,

vice president for college advancement, and other senior administrators as necessary. r

Collaborates closely with colleagues across Advancement to complete

departmental writing needs, including appeals, talking points for administrators, video scripts, and digital content - while ensuring quality and consistency with established institutional messages. r

Partners with departmental colleagues (e.g. principal and leadership

gift officers) to develop and execute individualized donor stewardship plans. r

Completes special projects as part of the Donor Relations team;

assists with and attends in-person events as needed; performs other duties as assigned in support of Donor Relations and the Office of Advancement.

rRequirements

Bachelor\'s degree required; Master\'s degree in a related field

preferred. r

Two to three years of experience in development or a related field

required. r

Understanding of and commitment to the vital role of stewardship and

donor relations as an institution-wide effort. r

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. r

Strong project management skills - including the ability to manage

multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. r

Able to write for print and digital formats on a variety of topics,

alongside demonstrated research and editing skills. r

Must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

and have prior familiarity with relational or CRM databases; prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge related to the strategic use of social networks is preferred.

rPhysical Demands and Working Conditions:

Evening and weekend work and travel may occasionally be required. r

Valid driver\'s license; ability to travel via air and public

transport r

This is a hybrid role and requires regular in-office presence at

least two days per week.
