What You'll Do
Oversee the department operations staff, establishing production standards and budget that meet the business need and monitor results. Provide team leadership, assist with workflow, and implement guidelines to meet the needs of the customer and field partners. Increase production of risk and investment products through broker, advisor and field office support activities.
Oversee business center operations by establishing production standards and monitoring results. Act to improve results as needed while continuing to drive efficiencies and meet the needs of the field and customers. Ensure strengthening partnerships between home office contacts, local field offices, internal and external customers.
Build a strong organization by hiring, leading, retaining, and developing employees within processing business roles. Promote business literacy and competency development. Achieve performance expectations as established by the business.
Build strong relationships with advisors. Promote processes and services that fully support the growth strategy as well as the success of advisors.
Manage the movement of experience advisors to our broker/dealer to ensure their block of business is effectively transferred over to Principal.
Perform all other job related duties or special projects as needed.

Who You Are
Bachelors degree or equivalent, plus 6+ years of related work experience including 6+ years of direct management or leadership experience required
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and problem solving, organizational, time management, training and PC skills are required
Knowledge of producer licensing, contracting and registration preferred
Must work effectively under pressure, exercising good judgement and maintain confidentiality
Understanding of financial services products, services and systems
Travel to corporate center and field offices required (approximately 25% of time)
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from the above locations) . You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
