Role Objective
Daily researching and processing of current and aged rebate claim requests. Includes formatting files, loading to ERP system, researching denials and communications with our distributor partners.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Researches in process deductions, verifying the validity of the information according to the provided data, and then issuing accordingly or advising the collector of open credit that can be applied
Reviews transactions to ensure proper approval or authorization
Communicates with customers (internal and external) to obtain additional supporting documentation or information when needed
Performs/maintains basic reporting functions
Identifies, researches, and resolves SAP system errors with the assistance of the IT department
Provides backup coverage for the other Rebate Coordinators
Identifies procedural and technological process improvements
Documents and updates procedures in the Credit Memo Processing Manual
Formats Excel spreadsheets to align with system needs
Audits issued rebate claim files and credit memos to ensure accuracy
Ensures proper controls are maintained related to credit memo issuance
Thoroughly researches to ensure accurate issuance of credit requests
Ensures rebate claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Notify customers denials and discrepancies in a timely fashion
Provides professional communication and follow-up with internal and external customers
Education and Experience
High school diploma required
Associate's degree (or higher) in Accounting or Business Management is a plus
Intermediate or higher Microsoft Excel experience required (vlookups, formulas)
SAP experience is a plus
Exceptional communication skills with internal and external customers required
Supervision/Coordination
Coordinate project work and team activities
Complete major tasks in support of the entire Sales Audit team
Compensation & Benefits
The expected starting pay for this role is between 39,100.00 - 53,800.00 per year. This is a non-exempt role. Within this range, an offer will depend on factors such as level of experience and technical competencies relevant to this specific role, as well as internal equity considerations.
