Description

Key Responsibilities Document Scanning: Operate scanning equipment to digitize paper documents. Ensure scanned files are clear, complete, and properly formatted. File Organization: Sort and categorize documents according to company filing systems. Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems for easy access. Quality Control: Verify accuracy of scanned documents against originals. Correct errors and rescan as needed. Data Management: Upload scanned files to designated databases or shared drives. Label and index files for quick retrieval. Confidentiality & Compliance: Handle sensitive information in accordance with company policies. Ensure compliance with data protection and retention regulations. Other Duties: Assist with shredding or archiving old documents. Support other administrative tasks as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning software/scanner Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Prior experience in document management or clerical work is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move files or boxes up to 25 lbs-30lbs. Prolonged periods of sitting and operating scanning equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
