Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to assembling UAVs for Department of Defense customers. This role involves the assembly of electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Perform electrical wiring and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.

Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects or irregularities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.

Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines.

Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.

Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.

Essential Skills

2 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems.

Mechanical aptitude and mechanical/electrical knowledge.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a startup environment is advantageous.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse/production environment with individual workstations. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Stafford, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.

You will be eligible to the employer's match under the Company's 401K plan after you have completed 6 full months of employment with the Company. (c) Paid Time-Off: You will be eligible to earn up to fifteen (15) days of paid vacation per calendar year, which will accrue monthly on a pro-rata basis. Vacation days not used in a specific year can be accumulated for use in future years up to a maximum of ten (10) days in total.

This is a fully onsite position in Stafford,VA.
