Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Cycle Counters for a large defense company located in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa, CA. This role is for the 2nd shift, typically from 2:30pm to 11pm, and includes a significant amount of overtime. As a Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to established schedules.

Reconcile physical inventory counts with system inventory records.

Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including transaction errors and process issues.

Document count results and adjustments accurately and in a timely manner.

Communicate variances and trends to Inventory Control and Warehouse leadership.

Assist with year-end or full physical inventory counts as required.

Verify product locations, quantities, lot numbers, and serial numbers as applicable.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.

Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.

Essential Skills

Experience with cycle counting.

Proficiency in material handling.

Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

ERP system experience.

Forklift and pallet jack operation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
