Staff Accountant

Perform daily cash management and bank reconciliations

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Support financial reporting and audit preparation

Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Finance Director on ad hoc projects

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1-4 years of relevant accounting experience (open to junior or mid-level candidates)

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactional work

Experience with reconciliations, AP/AR, and journal entries required

Healthcare or higher education experience a plus

Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $33.65/hr.
