Job Description

A large Material Handling Company is looking for a Director of Sales. The Director of Sales leads complex, large-scale material handling systems projects from qualified opportunity through contract execution and transition to implementation. Serving as the primary customer point of contact, this role owns all commercial, technical, and strategic aspects of assigned projects, including sales strategy, solution development, contract negotiation, and deal closure. The Director of Sales leads cross-functional teams-spanning application engineering, software, and solutions design-while managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously. This position requires deep systems-level expertise, strong customer relationship skills, and a proven ability to close long-cycle, multi-million-dollar sales engagements and ensure a seamless handover to project realization teams.

This is a full-time position offering an annual base salary range of $140,000 - $175 + commission. Additionally, the role may include a comprehensive benefits package, encompassing healthcare insurance and paid leave, in accordance with applicable laws.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in related field (marketing, sales, engineering)

Direct Material Handling Industry

Experience with 20-40 million dollar projects

Can generate relationships very quickly

Experience with closing deals the deals
