Position SummaryAs a VDC Data Technician, you will leverage various VDC Technologies, BIM Models, and their associated data to build and maintain interactive reports, dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI in a support role to the Gray site and project management teams. This role will work with and condition projects' BIM models to aid the site and project management teams with their progress tracking workflow throughout each project's lifecycle. Data produced from this workflow will be visualized by the VDC Data Technician in project-specific Microsoft Power BI reports. Who we want...(Requirements) Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines preferred, but not required: Data Science/Business Analytics, Construction Management, or a related AES field, or a degree from a Technical College and 0-5 years practical experience in the AEC industry. A basic familiarity with data analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau is desired but not required. A basic familiarity with the Autodesk design suite of software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Assemble Systems) is desired but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft office suite is required.* Any proficiency in coding languages such as Python, or proficiency with SQL or DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) is desired, but not required.The selected candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be physically present in the Lexington, KY office.
