Production Worker - Test Strip Manufacturing
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team and support the manufacturing of high-quality test strips. In this role, you will assemble, inspect, and package products, monitor material levels, and ensure all work aligns with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and visually inspect test strips to ensure quality and accuracy.
Safely lift items up to 25 lbs. as needed.
Package products and operate basic production equipment and tools.
Identify, remove, separate, document, and report any defective materials or products.
Track and monitor material levels to support continuous production flow.
Follow all SOPs and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned, including extended hours when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
Prior experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly-line work.
Ability to work as a line worker, machine operator, or picker/packer.
Strong proficiency in packing and packaging processes.
Additional Qualifications
Entry-level friendly; stable job tenure and strong work ethic required.
Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
Dependability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Work Environment
Dynamic production environment with approximately 90 team members.
Monday-Friday operation with two available shifts:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (six current openings)
Work with a respected company established in 1930, offering a diverse portfolio of wet-chemistry, dry-chemistry, and microprocessor-based test kits.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
