Entry Level Structural Engineer

flexibility, and professional growth. Mead & Hunt is seeking an Entry
Level Structural Engineer to join our Greenhouse Gas Reduction (GHGR)
group in our West Allis, WI office. This position will typically support
GHGR, Food & Beverage, and One Water projects and work closely with
experienced engineers to develop foundational structural design skills
while contributing to technically diverse projects. Responsibilities:
Assist experienced engineers with the design and analysis of structural
systems, including building foundations and equipment supports. Prepare
and update drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. Perform
submittal reviews and assist with quality control tasks. Collaborate
with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical & process engineers
and project managers. Utilize structural analysis software such as
Visual Analysis or RISA. Gradually assume increased design
responsibility with mentorship from senior engineers. Support both
fast-paced food & beverage projects and more complex GHGR & One Water
projects. May visit project sites to monitor progress and perform other
duties per the contract documents. May attend client meetings - days or
nights. May assist with client contact and communication pertaining to
specific projects. Other duties as assigned The successful candidate
must have a minimum of: Bachelor\'s degree in Architectural, Structural,
or Civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
The preferred candidate will have: Previous industrial internship
experience Familiarity with Visual Analysis and/or RISA Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Strong enthusiasm for learning and professional
development Eagerness to grow technical and projectbased skills Good
written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate
effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills
and attention to detail A positive, proactive attitude and willingness
to seek feedback This role offers structured mentorship, exposure to a
variety of project @types, and a clear path for professional development.
