Compensation: $41.78/hour
Responsibilities:
Will exercise a working knowledge of the theories and practice of electric, electronic, pneumatic, combustion and instrumentation systems; including test equipment.
Will read, understand and work from all @types of drawings, prints, and system diagrams and specifications with the highest degree of skill in his/her performance of maintenance installation and troubleshooting.
Perform troubleshooting and wiring on usual and complicated machines and equipment. May involve high-tension work and maintenance of electrical equipment having interlocking or interdependent circuits of ordinary difficulty.
Knowledge of range of voltages, Allen Bradley PLCs & Instrumentation experience
Troubleshoot 4-20 mA circuits
Use of computers/software to help troubleshoot
Understanding of Variable Frequency Drives, Power Generators, Transformers, Lighting, and Servos along with Yokogawa DCS systems
Install, maintain, modify, calibrate and repair electrical instrumentation, equipment, and control systems
Use various electrical testing equipment
Work successfully on:
Variable frequency drives
Power generators
Transformers
Lighting
Servos
Yokogawa DCS systems
Troubleshoot
Allen-Bradley PLCs
4-20mA circuits
AC/DC drives and motors up to 4160V
Various @types of cranes
Air/gas combustion systems
Perform preventative electrical maintenance
Bend and install various conduit @types
Pull and terminate various @types of wire
Read and translate technical manuals
Able to work rotating shifts 24/7
Must pass a written skills test & submit to a drug test & background check.
Must be able to work with normal instruction and minimum supervision.

Maintain a safe and clean work area as established by the company

Proper & safe care of all equipment
Insure all services provided meet the highest quality standard and take appropriate action when it does not meet this standard
Assist with the training of personnel in the proper performance of the duties required by a ECR.
Shuts off machines or equipment in an emergency situation that endangers personnel or equipment
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to install, maintain, modify, calibrate and repair electrical instrumentation, equipment and control systems
Ability to utilize various @types of electrical testing equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC's
Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC drives and motors up to 4160V
Ability to troubleshoot various @types of cranes
Ability to troubleshoot air/gas combustion systems
Ability to perform preventative electrical maintenance
Ability to bend and install various @types of conduit
Ability to pull and terminate various @types of wire
Ability to work while wearing a respirator
Use electrical test equipment for repair and troubleshooting.
Communicate clearly, maintenance situations from one shift to another
Installation, modification, and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules.
Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings.

Duties and Responsibilities
Performs the performance of all tasks necessary to test, calibrate, repair, overhaul, maintain, construct, modify or install equipment components and equipment and repair or maintain buildings and/or land improvements, including; laying out, setting up or assembling work for himself/herself, inspecting for damage or defects, diagnosing the correcting action necessary to correct malfunctions or damage (troubleshooting), assembling and/or disassembling equipment components or equipment, replacing defective parts, repairing damaged or defective parts, adjusting machinery, controls, regulators and instruments, rigging, moving, erecting and/or dismantling equipment components or equipment and operating maintenance or production equipment in the course of performing the aforementioned tasks to obtain maximum manufacturing efficiency with minimum downtime for maintenance or repair
Observes the operation of tools or equipment he/she are assigned to operate or use for hazards for irregularities and immediately reports malfunctions to the Crew Chief, Shift Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
Clearly complete any issued PM's in detail.
Respond to EWO1 issues
Utilize CMMS system to include: work order creation & closure, spare parts identification, purchase requisition creating, and purchase order receiving
Observes the operation of tools or equipment he/she are assigned to operate or use for hazards or unsafe mechanical conditions immediately taking or requesting corrective action to achieve and maintain safe operation
Responsible for training of maintenance personnel
Secures machinery or equipment in emergency situations which would endanger personnel or company property
Performs such other duties as may be assigned, consistent with the nature of the job, or provided elsewhere in the labor contract
Be able to communicate to customer if Crew chief is not available
Assist in identifying parts needed and kitting/staging parts as necessary
End of Shift
Communicate with the Crew Chief - Mechanical maintenance to understand all issues related to Production Line reliability and performance
Ensure cleaning of maintenance area/shop and transportation vehicle is clean and all trash and parts have been sorted and removed for the incoming shift, etc.
Communication
Report any unsafe conditions to Supervision and Crew Chief
Report any issues with environmental impact to supervision and Crew Chief
Communicate with Crew Chief and or Supervision and report any unresolved work to Crew Chief
Communicate with Crew Chief, Supervisor or Shift Manager status of equipment from maintenance performed or needed
Communicate with Production/ Warehouse as needed
