Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This role requires an individual with expertise in civil litigation and a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services. Responsibilities:

Represent clients in civil litigation matters, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated in court.

Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other necessary documents.

Collaborate with other offices and practice groups on shared legal matters to ensure consistency and quality.

Participate in depositions, hearings, and other court proceedings, requiring travel as needed.

Provide guidance and expertise on contract law, business partnerships, and regulatory compliance.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, actively engaging in business development initiatives.

Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Stay updated on changes in legal regulations and industry practices to provide informed counsel.

Support the firm's growth by contributing to strategic planning and practice development initiatives.

Manage discovery processes, including document review and preparation for litigation. Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active license in good standing to practice law in Kansas.

At least one year of experience in civil litigation or private practice.

Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective client and court interactions.

Willingness and ability to travel for court hearings, depositions, and client meetings.

Knowledge of contract law, business partnerships, and regulatory compliance.

Demonstrated motivation to grow individual practice and contribute to the firm's business development efforts.
