Job Title: Receptionist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to manage our front desk operations and provide administrative support within our busy manufacturing environment. You will be the first point of contact for our visitors and clients, maintaining a welcoming and organized reception area while supporting various office functions.

Responsibilities

Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.

Greet and welcome visitors, maintaining the organization's visitor log.

Open, sort, and route mail, prepare outgoing mail, and distribute incoming invoices, faxes, and interoffice paperwork.

Complete and distribute shipping documents and UPS labels, generating appropriate reports.

Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and office supply management.

Provide information to clients and employees in response to inquiries.

Operate and maintain office machines, including multi-line phone bank, paging system, postage meter, and UPS label maker.

Order office supplies and make service order calls for office equipment as needed.

Make travel arrangements for personnel as required.

Utilize UPS shipping software and MS Office software, maintaining and updating MS Outlook database, MS CRM, and MS NAV.

Create and distribute office memos and announcements as requested by management.

Maintain the organization's calendars.

Attend and contribute to all required meetings.

Support the team with other clerical duties as needed.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is a plus.

Bilingual - Spanish a plus.

Work Environment

The position is situated at the front of a busy and dynamic manufacturing environment. The atmosphere is fast-paced, and some employees communicate in a straightforward manner

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
