Description We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Lehi, Utah. This role requires expertise in financial processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Responsibilities:

Manage and process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

Oversee accounts receivable operations, including invoicing and payment tracking.

Maintain the general ledger by preparing and posting journal entries.

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between accounts and financial statements.

Analyze financial data to support reporting and decision-making processes.

Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and accounts.

Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Support audits by providing required documents and explanations. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries.

Strong skills in performing bank reconciliations accurately.

Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Experience with accounting software and tools is preferred.
