Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Sales Representative position is an integral role within the Company leading our regional western Wisconsin and Upper Michigan market business in small to mid-size regional and store accounts. This role will be reporting to the Sr. Retail Sales Manager in Wisconsin. This person will utilize customer information and Nielsen data to uncover insights and opportunities, building strategies and presentations to further grow our business across the customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for both independent chain HQ calls and individual independent stores within assigned territory.
Implementing customer level plans and sales strategies to build the Crystal Farms brands within assigned territory.
Utilizing retail call system to manage, track and grow sales (Stay in Front).
Selling in promotions and ad features.
Building and maintaining positive trade relationships with assigned territory.
Executing new product introductions, selling in new distribution, and closing distribution voids.
Work with Merchandiser Manager and Store Merchandisers as needed with training assistance, order placement and backup store coverage.
Attaining planned sales volume and distribution per sales goals.
Timely and accurate communication of retail sales reporting to internal Crystal Farms team.
Utilize factored based selling solutions, strong relationship skills, while having a hunter mentality for growth.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Minimum 2-3 year headquarter / retail sales experience.
Experience with Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan retailers preferred.
Reside in territory area preferred (Central, Eastern, Northern Wisconsin)
Proficient in trade funding management, promotional planning and execution.
Ability to read and interpret documents consistent with the consumer products industry.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical, and relationship building skills.
Ability to speak effectively in front of customers.
Highly motivated, self-directed individual to work in fast-paced, fluid environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Travel up to 50% required based on business needs.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Strong written, verbal, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.

The pay range for this position is $54,308 - $73,859 per year.
