Our Community Based Services program at Direct Care and Treatment is excited to welcome a Clinical Program Therapist 2 to our team in Richfield. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals with serious and persistent mental illness and other disabilities as they build independence, strengthen their well-being, and live successfully in community-based residential settings.
As a Clinical Program Therapist 2, you will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and evaluate person-centered support plans that promote mental health recovery, physical well-being, independence, and community safety. Working under limited supervision and in partnership with Skills Development Specialists and program coordinators or managers, you will provide comprehensive clinical support, share specialized knowledge and techniques aligned with program guidelines, and offer psychoeducation that empowers individuals in their recovery journey.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Provide direct, person-centered care including assessment, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and relapse prevention to support individuals in achieving their recovery and personal goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate individualized treatment and support plans.
Coordinate care and provide guidance to staff to ensure consistent, high-quality support for individuals served.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with program standards and regulatory requirements.
Promote and help maintain a safe, supportive, and drug-free therapeutic environment within the residential program.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of combined experience in at least 4 of the 6 activities listed below:
Providing direct care and therapeutic support to individuals
Assisting with assessment of behavior health challenges including data collection
Experience leading and/or facilitating educational groups or therapeutic activities with individuals with mental health symptoms
Experience developing or implementing support plans or treatment plans that addresses behavior through adaptations, activities, interventions, education, engagement, and support
Assisting in planning and hand-off communication of support plans and strategies for supporting individuals upon discharge
Developing/assisting in development of behavioral interventions and recommendations for interdisciplinary staff implementation
1 year of relevant experience requirement may be substituted by a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or behavior analysis; the experience requirement also may be substituted by a bachelor's degree in human services or a related behavioral health field that includes substantial behavioral health coursework such as: individual or group counseling, clinical interviewing, clinical assessment, crisis intervention, or similar behavioral health courses.
Preferred Qualifications
