Job Title: Medical Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling various medical devices. This hands-on position requires precision and attention to detail as you will work with small components and use a microscope to ensure high-quality assembly.

Responsibilities

Assemble medical devices using hand tools and microscopes.

Learn and master potentially complex assembly processes.

Cross-train at different assembly stations.

Handle and maneuver small components and parts with precision.

Work in a full clean room environment, adhering to strict cleanliness protocols.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and microscopes.

Ability to learn complex processes quickly.

Excellent communication skills in English for written and oral communication.

Strong reading and writing comprehension skills.

Reliable transportation to the work site.

Great hand dexterity and ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in medical assembly or other forms of manufacturing/assembly is preferred.

Microscope and cleanroom/assembly experience is advantageous.

Ability to work overtime as required.

Understanding of measurements with rulers and calipers.

Great organizational skills.

Work Environment

You will work in a full clean room environment requiring hair nets, gowns, booties, and strict hygiene protocols, including hand washing before entering. The dress code prohibits nail polish, long fake nails, makeup, fragrances, henna tattoos, pants with holes, and requires closed-toe shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.25/hr.
