As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support access control and visitor badging as needed. You will communicate clearly with employees and guests while documenting observations using a computer and/or tablet. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech or telecom location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting them per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, access concerns, disturbances and/or medical events, and request assistance when needed.

Monitor access points and key areas through physical presence and available systems, help to deter unauthorized entry, and direct employees, contractors and visitors according to site requirements.

Complete accurate reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts during shift changes and throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
