As a Security Guard - Perimeter Rover Clearance Required in Mascoutah, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and support access control and badging processes. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver a customer-focused experience. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Control access to designated buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification and/or credentials, supporting visitor processing, and following badging and key control procedures as required by the site.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying site contacts, and requesting assistance from local responders when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Complete reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or alarms when assigned, and communicate status updates to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years of security experience.

Have an active DoD Secret clearance.

Be 21+ years of age.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
