POSITION SUMMARY
Kelly® is seeking a skilled and driven Warehouse Operations Manager for a large, high-volume facility in Salt Lake City, UT. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all warehouse, logistics, and inventory management functions, lead a diverse operations team, and ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures and policies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and drive effectiveness of all warehouse processes including inventory management, transportation, customer service, and staff performance.
Prepare and deliver timely, accurate operational reports and updates to Regional Operations Manager and other leadership.
Supervise facility cleanliness, inside and out, and ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained.
Build and sustain productive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and shipping partners.
Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse team members through objective setting, delegation, clear communication, coaching, and regular meetings.
Manage team scheduling, staffing, and planning for varying workload demands and high seasons.
Guide personnel development including 30/60/90-day check-ins, ongoing reviews, and robust development plans.
Partner with HR for workforce management including interviewing, hiring, training, and employee relations.
Manage and enforce safety programs, hold documented monthly safety meetings, and oversee investigations of incidents and corrective actions.
Lead facility security and loss prevention efforts.
Collaborate with Sales to proactively meet field operation and customer needs.
Assist with strategic projects, process improvements, business acquisitions, and warehouse moves.
Control and manage operational expenses and contribute to optimal financial performance.
Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
Plan facility layout for optimal workflow of incoming and outgoing products.
Uphold and promote the company's positive image within the workforce and with external partners.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, stooping, and lifting (up to 80 lbs); team lifting for heavier items (including tires).
Specific vision abilities needed: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Required use of safety gear: steel/composite boots, vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (all but boots provided).
Exposure to weather, normal warehouse noise, and occasional fumes from tires and car parts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's in business plus 2+ years of warehouse/operations experience, OR 6+ years direct warehouse/operations experience.
Supervisory experience with a demonstrated capacity for leadership and team development.
In-depth knowledge of material handling, inventory documentation, supply contracts, shipping, and budgeting.
Excellent math, accounting, financial interpretation, and reporting skills.
Strong communicator-capable of interacting with all levels of personnel.
High level of customer focus and supplier relationship building experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willing to travel nationally as needed.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
