Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing GUI and GPU software to support our defense and space-based product line. The primary focus will be on GUI development using Visual Studio, emphasizing GPU processors and CUDA. Additionally, the role involves supporting embedded development in a real-time environment and collaborating closely with the entire software development team.

Responsibilities

Develop GUI software using Visual Studio with a focus on GPU processors and CUDA.

Support embedded software development in a real-time environment.

Collaborate with the software development team to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Serve as the subject matter expert for high-level GUI development.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in GUI development with Visual Studio.

Strong experience with GPU processors and CUDA.

Expertise in C# and .NET.

Experience in the defense industry, particularly in space flight.

Ability to obtain a secret clearance, with an active secret clearance preferred.

Solid understanding of embedded software development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

5-10 years of development experience in the defense industry.

Work Environment

The current software team consists of four members, all focused on embedded development. This role will support the Tranche3 program. The opportunity offers the chance to join a small, experienced software team with great tenure, immediately taking on the role of subject matter expert for high-level GUI development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cypress, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $90.00/hr.
