Support the successful launch and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes by bridging product development and production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and operational readiness.
Your role:
You will support Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM) subprojects by translating product design requirements into manufacturing processes that enable efficient production and quality outcomes. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless transitions from product development to production.
You will develop quality control plans and detailed work instructions to maintain embedded quality standards while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, environmental, and company policies. Your work will help ensure consistent product quality and reliable manufacturing performance.
You will oversee the installation and ramp-up of manufacturing equipment and support the introduction of new technologies or processes within the factory. This includes working closely with production teams to ensure smooth equipment integration and operational readiness.
You will contribute to lifecycle management activities by implementing design changes and improving manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to enhance product quality and efficiency. You will also monitor process performance after project handover to identify opportunities for optimization.
You will apply Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve productivity, and support Capex optimization initiatives. This includes supporting recurring equipment procurement and installation while ensuring alignment with manufacturing standards and operational goals.
You're the right fit if:
You've acquired a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline; vocational education with at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment may also be considered.
Your skills include knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, quality control planning, and the ability to interpret technical drawings or engineering documentation.
You have experience working in a manufacturing or operations environment supporting process improvements, equipment installation, product industrialization, or production engineering activities.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in MN is $74,000 to $117,000 per year.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
