AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to help accelerate cloud adoption across the AGS Automotive and Manufacturing industry. As a Solutions Architect in the Automotive and Manufacturing (AutoMfg) vertical, you will work directly with some of the world's leading OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and industrial manufacturers as they reimagine how vehicles are designed, built, and operated and how factories of the future come to life. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers navigate complex architectural decisions across connected vehicle platforms, autonomous driving workloads, digital twins, smart factory/Industry 4.0 initiatives, supply chain optimization, and software-defined vehicle (SDV) strategies.
We are looking for individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to work backwards from customer needs and help them gain competitive advantage using AWS. As a key member of the Account Team, you will influence customers' architectural choices across broad use cases involving IoT, edge computing, high-performance computing (HPC), security, data lakes and analytics, AI/ML, simulation, and robotics - as well as foundational services spanning compute, storage, and networking. You will provide technical design guidance and thought leadership, lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge with the broader AWS Solutions Architecture community, and develop reusable industry reference architectures. You will also have the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today across the breadth of enterprise and operational technology architecture.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
