What You'll Do:

You'll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you're loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you'll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly - from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

Established in 2006, Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of GSF, is a custom last-mile distribution company specializing in tailored solutions for selected food service Industry customers. Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD services thousands of restaurants throughout the United States. Providing over 37,000 deliveries a week from 25 strategically located distribution centers, the QCD fleet averages more than 40 million miles driven per year. In This Role You'll:

All Associates:

Safely operate material handling equipment : pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)

Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards

Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory

Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

Loader Specific:

Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely

Secure pallets for shipment and verify shipping documentation

Assist dock operations including staging and organizing shipments

Selector (Picker) Specific:

Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately

Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy

Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

What You'll Bring :

All Associates:

Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments

Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

Loader:

Forklift certification and at least 6 months of safe operation experience preferred

Selector (Picker) Specific:

Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation Use a voice-directed picking system ( VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

Schedule & Setting :

Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse ( dry, cooler freezer : -5 °F to 38 °F)

Primarily a 4-day work week, with shifts typically starting between 4 AM and 5 P M; weekend and holiday availability required

Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 - lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

Pay & Benefits :

$ 26 /hour

The expected range for this position is $ 26 /hour (For Hourly, Non-Exempt Roles)
