Summary You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Engineering Department of NIWC ATLANTIC as the Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Service Area Chief. Responsibilities You will lead the development and execution of defensive cybersecurity strategies to protect information systems from evolving threats. You will monitor network activity, analyze incidents, and implement security measures to maintain data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. You will manage resources and acquisition strategies to ensure teams have the tools and support needed for cybersecurity operations. You will build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, and academic partners to share threat intelligence and best practices. You will set performance standards, guide teams, and foster innovation to deliver consistent, high-quality cybersecurity services. You will coordinate cybersecurity efforts across multiple stakeholders to enhance cooperation and improve the overall security posture. You will develop documentation, lead security initiatives, and collaborate with technical teams to strengthen system defenses and operational readiness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NO-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leads AND/OR directs defensive cybersecurity operations by developing strategies, managing resources, monitoring threats, coordinating with stakeholders, implementing security measures, fostering innovation, AND/OR ensuring reliable protection of data and information systems.
