Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Coordinator / Manager to support marketing and communications initiatives on a 5-month contract basis in Cleveland, Ohio. This role will coordinate project planning and execution for a variety of marketing materials including fundraising campaigns, alumni engagement communications, and other marketing initiatives.
The Project Coordinator / Manager will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, creative teams, and production staff to ensure projects move efficiently from intake through final delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Management
Manage and monitor the full project lifecycle from intake to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Develop and track project timelines in collaboration with production managers, creative teams, and stakeholders.
Monitor workflow, identify potential delays, and help resolve project challenges.
Collect, organize, and manage project assets to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Support budget tracking and maintain accurate job statuses within reporting systems.
Marketing & Client Support
Partner with internal teams to understand marketing goals and project needs.
Translate stakeholder objectives into clear project deliverables aligned with marketing strategies.
Coordinate inquiries and connect partners with appropriate internal or external resources.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with production staff, communications teams, designers, and other project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Maintain strong communication across teams to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines.
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, client relations, or marketing communications.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
Required Skills
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using project management systems; Asana preferred.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
Comfortable working in asset management systems and Google-based environments.
