As a Product Manager within the Consumer Bank - Family Banking team, you will combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and exceptional collaboration skills with a customer-first mindset. You will influence executive decisions, partner across lines of business, and ensure that our family offerings deliver measurable impact for customers and the firm. You will identify cross-product opportunities and base decisions on data and customer value, building trust through subject-matter credibility and clear insight to drive stakeholder alignment. You combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen, strong collaboration, and a customer-first mindset to deliver measurable outcomes and defined KPIs. You'll influence executive decisions, partner across lines of business, and work with Agile product teams to build new offerings when gaps are identified, and business cases are approved. You'll apply rigorous organization, critical thinking, and attention to detail while driving continuous improvement, collaborating with Product, Technology, Card Production, Finance, and Marketing through defined cadences and RACI ownership to meet quality, speed, resiliency, and cost objectives.
This Product manager will be a visionary leader to accelerate our Family Banking strategy by creating integrated experiences across JPMorganChase operations. You will shape, operate, and scale processes that deliver more than 25 million debit cards annually, leading high-impact partnerships and seeing your impact at scale. As a Vice President on the Debit Product team, you will own strategy and execution of a ~$50 million budget while orchestrating inventory, forecasting, and cross-functional delivery to meet quality, speed, resiliency, and cost targets. You will reduce expense, eliminate process friction, and scale a critical product used by millions of customers.
Job responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Lead end-to-end inventory and operations to produce 25M+ debit cards/year, resolving issues swiftly and preventing recurrences through process enhancements
Own the ~$50MM debit card budget with P&L accountability; identify and implement cost saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
Build and execute the strategic card order plan; coordinate orders with partners to meet quality, speed, resiliency, and cost targets
Drive cross functional initiatives (Product, Technology, Card Production, Finance, Marketing) in an Agile environment, developing workplans to test and evaluate solutions
Navigate a highly matrixed organization to influence, build consensus, and provide strategic thought leadership that prioritizes initiatives reducing expense and customer pain points
Operate autonomously with excellent time management and organization; present and communicate persuasively across all levels in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Experience managing product delivery across multiple workstreams with diverse timelines and complexities
Proven experience in project management, operations, business, product, or technology, with domain expertise and strong cross functional collaboration
Makes data backed decisions by weighing complex tradeoffs with P&L and customer impact; exercises sound judgment in fast paced environments
Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; experienced and comfortable presenting to senior leadership
Proactively drives issue resolution and risk management to meet objectives; removes blockers and improves ways of working as a self-starter
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities and ambiguity, navigating change positively while enabling team progress
Maintains big picture perspective to anticipate upstream/downstream impacts beyond assigned initiatives; excels in time management and organization
