What's The Role
The AWS Cloud Solutions Business Development Manager with Liberty Caribbean is responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with enterprise clients, and leading the positioning and commercialization of cloud solutions (AWS). This regional role combines technical, commercial, and account-management skills to drive revenue growth across the cloud portfolio.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute the commercial strategy for selling cloud solutions.
Generate, qualify, and close opportunities with clients in the enterprise, government, and mid-market segments.
Coordinate with solution architects and technical teams to design proposals aligned with client requirements.
Stay up-to-date on cloud technologies, market trends, consumption models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and local regulations.
Manage the sales pipeline in the CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and meeting quarterly/annual targets.
Lead presentations, workshops, and executive sessions with clients to promote cloud adoption.
Establish relationships with vendors such as AWS
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities in managed services, cybersecurity, and application modernization.
What You'll Need
Knowledge & Experience
Academic Background
University degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or related fields.
Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / AWS Solutions Architect / AWS Business Professional, or similar.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of B2B consultative sales experience in the technology sector.
At least 2 years of business development experience related to cloud solutions or digital transformation.
Experience working with technical and commercial teams in complex sales cycles.
Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of cloud architectures, consumption models, and cloud adoption trends.
Understanding of migration, integration, security, and compliance challenges in cloud environments.
Strong negotiation skills, executive-level presentation abilities, and key-account management capabilities.
Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
Languages
Intermediate-advanced English (ability to interact with international vendors and read technical documentation)
Spanish proficiency is a plus
