As an armed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, and access-related concerns.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.

Monitor access points and key areas during patrols, provide directions and assistance, and help support a respectful environment in patient care areas.

Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and participate in post orders and shift briefings as required.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.

An armed guard card and/or license is required.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton are preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
