The Forensic Services campus in St. Peter is comprised of the Forensic Mental Health Program and the Forensic Nursing Home. Forensic Services provides mental health evaluation and treatment services to individuals diagnosed with a mental illness who present a risk to public safety. This is a safe and secure treatment environment.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Providingadvanced professional mental health services, including comprehensive clinical services (e.g., group and individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, crisis intervention)
Providing clinical consultation services regarding differential diagnoses, effective treatment strategies, risk management (e.g., suicidality), treatment planning, and other related issues
Providing information and clinical direction to other program delivery staff regarding clinical assessment results, patient treatment progress, and other pertinent data
The individual will effectively solve problems using creativity and a thorough knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, or related field AND
Licensure or license eligible in the State of Minnesota as a mental health professional (e.g., LICSW, LP, LPCC, LMFT)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals with complex diagnostic presentations
