Full-Time | Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $120-140K based on experience

1st shift: 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

What's a typical day as Shipping Manager? You'll be:

Ensuring all outgoing products and materials are transported efficiently and economically

Negotiating rates and coordinating freight with carriers

Communicating with internal teams (sales, managers, senior staff) and external partners (carriers, ports, shipping agents) to troubleshoot logistics issues and negotiate pricing

Providing logistics analysis and maintaining competitive information on freight

Developing and managing performance metrics for shipping and logistics operations

Leading by example to promote safety, efficiency, and a positive work environment

Motivating employees and maintaining high standards of quality, morale, and productivity

Overseeing inventory of supplies necessary for day-to-day operations

Assisting the Director, Manufacturing Supply Chain in daily operations of Fabrication, Shipping, and Packing

Ensuring compliance with work instructions, policies, safety, quality, and ISO standards

Optimizing workflow, controlling overtime, vacation hours, and evaluating employee performance

Addressing disciplinary actions and collaborating with Human Resources to resolve employee issues

Driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)

Bring at least five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics (required)

Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes

Excel in analytical and problem-solving abilities

Have experience with Manufacturing ERP systems (Infor Syteline ERP experience preferred)

Are capable of sitting for extended periods and lifting 25-50 lbs. as needed
