The Director of PG&A Sourcing & Supplier Development leads the global sourcing strategy for Parts, Garments & Accessories, driving supplier selection, capability development, and performance to deliver industry-leading quality, cost, delivery, and innovation. This leader oversees a global team, aligns sourcing strategies with product roadmaps and financial objectives, and strengthens supplier relationships across the PG&A portfolio. The role partners closely with Product, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Legal, provides strategic oversight of drop-ship operations, and represents PG&A in enterprise initiatives and long-range supply network planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership
Lead and develop the PG&A sourcing and supplier development organization, setting talent strategy, building capabilities, and ensuring strong succession and performance management across global teams.
Coordinate priorities across Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality, providing the vision, structure, and systems that enable high performance.
Key Responsibilities
Drive global PG&A sourcing strategy, governance, and standard work to drive year-over-year improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and supplier capability.
Lead cross-functional team to develop component and technology strategies, support long-range product planning, and guide supplier selection.
Monitor market, commodity, and technology trends to inform sourcing strategies, including total-cost-of-ownership decisions and localization opportunities.
Use supplier scorecards, KPIs, and analytics to strengthen accountability and guide procurement, lifecycle, and supplier performance decisions.
Advance supplier collaboration through SIOP integration, lead-time reduction, LEAN initiatives, and targeted supplier development.
Lead strategic negotiations and supply agreements that balance total delivered cost, inventory, lead times, and long-term enterprise value.
Drive innovation in sourcing processes and tools, benchmarking external industries to elevate PG&A supply chain performance and competitiveness.
Translate enterprise priorities and long-range business needs into actionable sourcing strategies, financial plans, and supplier development roadmaps.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; Master's preferred.
10+ years of OEM sourcing experience, including 5+ years leading teams in complex, global and cross functional environments.
Broad expertise in supplier management, quality, sourcing, and cost/quality/delivery performance.
Strong strategic thinking, change leadership, supply/ macroeconomic insights, & risk management.
Demonstrated ability to develop talent, inspire teams, and influence across a matrixed global organization.
Proven ability to shape culture, drive cross-functional alignment, & present effectively at executive levels.
Track record of proactive, innovative problem-solving while challenging status quo to deliver value.
Experience in durable goods manufacturing industries such as agriculture, automotive, appliance, powersports, construction, aviation, or Tier I automotive.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $156,200 to $205,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
