Description

We are seeking a contract Legal Administrative Assistant to join a non-profit law firm in Las Vegas, Nevada. This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to support a team committed to serving the community while gaining valuable experience in a legal environment. As a member of the team, you will handle various administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth operations and organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Provide general clerical support, including copying, scanning, filing, and organizing legal documents.

Format and edit correspondence and legal forms using Microsoft Word.

Maintain and organize both physical and digital files for ongoing legal cases.

Perform accurate data entry and assist in managing case management systems.

Collaborate on ad hoc assignments and projects requested by the legal team.

Ensure all documentation is properly prepared and stored for legal matters.

Support the team in administrative tasks to improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and experience working with PDF documents.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Previous experience in a legal setting is advantageous but not required.

Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures.

Capacity to work onsite Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
