You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist with access control and visitor interactions while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and service requests while following post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and security-related concerns.

Monitor property activity, observe for unusual conditions, and promptly report hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate parties.

Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
