Account Associate positions offered by Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (DBA: PIMCO) (New York, NY). Work with Account Managers to engage prospects and service existing clients. Draft internal business presentations and prepare client-servicing materials. Summarize and explain complex financial and economic concepts to educate and service existing and prospective relationships. Gather, analyze, and discuss market trends and data with colleagues and clients. Analyze portfolio characteristics in the @context of broader investment themes. Perform attribution research, create customized client reports, and respond to ad-hoc inquiries. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Build and maintain a variety of materials to support new business development and existing business initiatives. Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field and 2 years of experience working in financial services, asset management, investment banking or accounting Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:o Working in fixed income and economics o Using income instruments and working with the economic underpinnings of the fixed income asset class o Working with CRM systems o Performing financial analysis using Microsoft Excel Position reports to New York, NY office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
