Description

Robert Half is recruiting for an Accounting Manager Consultant for a family services organization in the Inland Empire. The consultant will support a multi division operations and a high-volume billing and payroll environment. This interim role will be located onsite in Corona, CA.

Responsibilities

Lead daily accounting operations across multiple entities.

Oversee month-end close, GL reconciliations, journal entries, and financial accuracy.

Support Billing Manager and 10 clerks on high-volume billing

Supervise Payroll team (5 specialists)

Oversee AP, vendor payments, and staff accountant activities.

Provide hands-on support to related entity, for billing, payroll, and ~30-40 monthly invoices.

Strengthen accounting controls, workflows, and system processes within

Ensure accuracy in multi-entity and intercompany accounting.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive accounting experience; multi-entity or service-based environments preferred.

Experience managing billing, payroll, or operational accounting teams.

Proficiency with Sage Intacct preferred

Strong GAAP knowledge and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements - At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in multi-entity or service-based environments.

Proven ability to manage billing, payroll, or operational accounting teams effectively.

Proficiency in Sage Intacct is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Expertise in month-end close procedures, general ledger management, and journal entries.

Experience with financial statement audits and account reconciliations.

Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
