Kelly , in partnership with our client, is seeking an accomplished Operations Manage r for direct hire placement to lead and evolve a high-impact logistics function within a progressive manufacturing environment in Tulsa, OK. As a direct hire, you will join our client's team as a permanent employee from day one.
Be a Strategic Leader in Warehouse Automation
Your comprehensive knowledge of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) will drive key business results and set new benchmarks for operational efficiency and excellence across our Tulsa facility.
Key Leadership Responsibilities:
Deliver strategic oversight for all aspects of materials flow, from supplier receipt through automated storage, production staging, and outbound distribution.
Champion best practices and continuous improvement by optimizing warehouse automation-maximizing the performance and ROI of our ASRS deployment.
Engage and develop a talented operations team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture with a strong focus on employee development, safety, and accountability.
Refine inventory management systems and ensure seamless ERP integration, leveraging data to anticipate challenges and drive actionable solutions.
Set and monitor performance objectives, manage departmental budgets, and report on critical KPIs related to inventory, throughput, cost, and quality.
Collaborate directly with leadership in purchasing, production, engineering, and IT to advance our automation and supply chain strategies.
Lead cross-functional initiatives that align materials management with world-class manufacturing and customer service standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Demonstrated expertise in the operation, optimization, and expansion of advanced Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
6-8 years of progressive experience in materials, logistics, or operations management within a manufacturing setting.
At least 4 years in roles guiding and mentoring teams, with proven results leading through automation and process change.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
APICS (or similar) certification is a plus.
Advanced analytical and Excel skills.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
