Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Lakeland FL

Pay $26 to $30 an hour

Shifts Open: 2nd Shift (1pm - 9:30pm) or 3rd Shift (9pm - 5:30am)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with experience in electrical and mechanical systems and PLC troubleshooting. The position offers competitive hourly pay and requires working either on the 3rd shift from 9 PM to 5:30 AM or the 2nd shift from 1 PM to 9:30 PM.

Responsibilities

Perform reactive and preventive maintenance on machinery.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including PLCs.

Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for accurate repairs.

Repair and maintain conveyors, sensors, compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Conduct facilities maintenance, including HVAC and plumbing tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical domains.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Experience with maintenance of machinery components such as compressors, steamers, conveyors, bearings, and sensors.

PLC troubleshooting experience.

Experience with 3-phase motors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working within a Linen Processing facility.

Familiarity with industrial-grade dryers, washers, folders, and conveyors.

Reliable transportation and good tenure.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment dealing with hospital and healthcare linen, which can be messy at times. The position requires a 50/50 split between mechanical and electrical tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
