Purpose:
The Commercial Data Sciences team is looking for an extraordinary scientist who is passionate about crafting, developing, and fielding data science solutions that drive impact for patients and for Johnson & Johnson. In this role you will be someone who stays on the cutting edge of agentic AI plus generative AI intelligent system designs and advanced analytics research through novel project execution and development of agents that influence decisions at various levels in the organization, including but not limited to distribution demands, omnichannel sales and marketing optimization, patient/payer analytics, commercial strategy, and relate commercially focused model development. The role requires both a broad knowledge of existing agentic build principles and the creativity to invent and customize when vital. You will lead and deliver projects and develop solutions that in turn deliver insights. You will work with cross-functional teams across business and technology, and be part of a dynamic, accomplished organization that will support multiple therapeutic areas and commercial functions.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Ph.D. with 3 years of experience, or M.S. with 5+ years of relevant pharma sales & marketing experience, in Computer Sciences, Agentic AI development using the latest frameworks, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Computational Informatics, Medical Informatics, or a related field.
Hands on experience proven by working in enterprise wide agentic AI solutions.
Experience with Agentic AI frameworks Langchain, Langgraph, Llamaindex and full stack AI Engineering using generative AI technologies, data mining and/or text mining.
Experience working with LLMs from OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Huggingface, Azure and AWS Bedrock.
Familiarity with large datasets, handling of healthcare relevant datasets and understanding of data analysis workflows.
Proficiency with one or more programming language such as Python, R, SAS or Java.
Familiarity with working in a cloud-based technology stack and generative AI for efficiency.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate sophisticated methods and results to diverse audiences.
Strong ability to establish relationships with business partners and understand their needs.
Proven track record to deliver end-to-end Agentic AI projects from understanding business requirements, development, deployment, and management of post-launch operations
Experience with vendor management - ensuring timelines and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the commercial pharmaceuticals business.
Experience with sales and marketing processes, and related technology.
Familiarity of commercially available healthcare data sets.
Experience with Agentic AI scaling architecture.
Familiarity with open-source and gated/paid model landscape

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $117,000 to $201,250 USD.
