Position Overview
As Senior Business Operations Manager for Autodesk's Digital Experience & Commerce (DEC) organization, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, executive readiness, and cross-functional alignment across a highly visible, performance-driven function. Reporting to the Director of Business Operations & Strategy, this role partners closely with the DEC Leadership Team and senior stakeholders across Worldwide Marketing, Growth & eCommerce (GET), Finance, Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
You will be trusted to turn complexity into clarity-translating strategy, data, and cross-functional initiatives into concise, executive-ready narratives that inform decisions and move the business forward. This role is ideal for a structured, data-led operator who thrives in ambiguity, operates with high ownership, and embodies Autodesk's One ORBIT behaviors in how they work.
Responsibilities
Business Operations & Executive Enablement
Drive theoperational rhythm of the business, partnering with the Director of Business Operations & Strategy
Operations across annual and quarterly planning, execution tracking, and leadershipreporting
Own the creation ofexecutive-ready presentations and narratives, distilling complexinitiatives into clear, decision-oriented stories used in QBRs, CEO GPRs, CMO updates,leadership forums, and planning cycles
Ensure senior leaders receiveaccurate, timely, and insight-driven updates,proactively surfacing risks and trade-offs with no surprises
Operate with accountability and urgency, demonstratingRelentlessfocus on outcomes and execution
Executive Narrative & Storytelling
Translate performance data, portfolio updates, risks, and dependencies intoclear executive storylineswith defined problem statements, options, and recommendations
Maintain high standards ofvisual clarity, analytical rigor, and structurein all leadership materials
Ensure alignment betweenstrategy, metrics, financials, and roadmap commitments, reinforcing trust and transparency
Act withBravedecision-making-challenging assumptions and elevating discussions when clarity is needed
?Performance Metrics & Reporting
Maintain and evolveDEC dashboards and reportingacross revenue, funnel health,experimentation, and operational KPIs
Support the development ofexecutive scorecards and performance summariesthat connect outcomes to strategy
Track and supportOKR planning and progress, ensuring focus on the highest-impactpriorities
Partner with Portfolio Management to ensure accurate initiative tracking and visibilityusing tools such as Airtable
ApplyIngeniousthinking to continuously improve how insights are generated an shared.
Employee Engagement & Organizational Health
Partner with DEC leadership to strengthenclarity, engagement, and accountability across the organization
Support the design and execution ofall-hands, offsites, town halls, and alignment sessionsthat connect strategy to execution
Translate strategic priorities into narratives that clearly link individual contributions to DEC's commercial outcomes
Monitor engagement signals and surface organizational risks early
Reinforce a culture ofTrusted partnership, transparency, and shared ownership ofresults
Partner with People & Places (HR) to support onboarding, enablement, and capability-building initiatives
Ensure recognition and milestones are visible and celebrated across leadership forums
Cross -Functional Alignment
Work closely withMarketing, Finance, Sales, Product, Growth, and Customer
Successto ensure shared understanding of goals, priorities, and trade-offs
Facilitate structured discussions that drivedecisions-not just status updates
ChampionOne Autodeskcollaboration by aligning teams around outcomes andcustomer impact
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience inbusiness operations, strategy, consulting, or analytical roles
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
MBA preferred but not required
Experience inDigital, eCommerce, SaaS, or performance-driven environments
Proven track record supportingsenior leaders with executive-levelcommunications
Preferred Qualifications
ExceptionalPowerPoint and executive storytellingskills; able to build structured, high-impact presentations quickly
Strong analytical ability with comfort synthesizing data into insights and recommendations
High ownership and ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Strongfinancial and commercial acumen, including revenue, forecasting, and KPIs
Comfortable leveragingAI and LLM toolsas a force multiplier in daily work
Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools; familiarity with BI and dash-boarding platforms a plus

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $122,000 and $219,010. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
