To manage and direct the operation of offender living units and/or correction programs in a correctional facility so that institution and departmental goals are met within the @context of protecting public safety and treating offenders humanely. This position exists to provide supervision of substance abuse treatment services at the Minnesota Correctional and administrative management of the TRIAD Substance Abuse Program. This position will work closely with uniformed security staff to ensure that treatment can take place in an orderly and safe environment.
Work is in a Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF) - Lino Lakes with incarcerated individuals.
Minimum Qualifications

License/Experience/Education
Current Minnesota licensure as an independent clinical mental health professional (e.g., LICSW, LP, LPCC, or LMFT).
Minimum of 3 years of experience providing clinical supervision and direction to other behavioral health professionals in the areas of behavioral health assessment, treatment planning, and provision of services in a behavioral health treatment setting, of which at least 2 years of experience must include administrative supervision of behavioral health employees.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Human relations and conflict resolution skills sufficient to effectively solve problems in a manner that is sensitive to organizational structures, cultures, and the needs of groups and individual; to elicit cooperation from staff and incarcerated individuals to resolve difficult and potentially dangerous situations; and to build consensus, establish collaborative relations, and facilitate groups.
Demonstrated clinical supervision skills providing clinical direction to other behavioral health professionals.
Advanced expertise in the assessment, treatment, and supervision of persons in correctional facilities and advanced knowledge in the behavioral health assessment and treatment, including general treatment concepts and security operating procedures.
Oral and written communication skills sufficient to provide training, write policy, conduct performance evaluations, maintain behavioral health recordkeeping, and carry out responsibilities in the areas of administration, treatment services, program evaluation, and staff development.
Skills and ability to provide professional training and consultation to a wide range of individuals both within Minnesota and those from other states.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience providing specialized behavioral health services to individuals with substance use disorders, and/or a forensic population.
Current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)
Knowledge of research methods and outcomes measurement.
Knowledge of licensing board processes, investigation processes, and other licensing issues.
Knowledge of human resources-related policies and procedures and labor contracts sufficient to assign, schedule, and direct employees and evaluate and manage their performance.
Experience in providing clinical supervision to staff working with clinically complex cases, including diagnostic and therapeutic methods with serious and persistent mental illness (SPM
