Our client, a leader in the consumer packaged goods industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Customer Account Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supply Chain Customer Account Specialist

Location: Valencia, CA

What's the Job?

?Act as a single point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring order fulfillment meets expectations.

Establish and maintain professional relationships with account contacts to facilitate optimal communication.

Analyze orders for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies related to pricing and due dates.

Collaborate with distribution and carriers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective transportation.

Develop and maintain up-to-date customer profiles to align with current expectations and prevent compliance violations.

Administers strategies meant to optimize organizational inventory levels and support organizational business objectives.

Collects data and prepares analyses forecasting demand or predicting inventory needs.

Collaborates with leadership on identifying and implementing efficiency or performance improvements.

Analyzes retailer Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) data to execute customer purchase orders.

Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain.

What's Needed?

?Two to five years of experience in customer service and/or logistics, preferably in a consumer products company.

Two to four years of experience in a fast-paced environment in the consumer packaged goods industry.

?Working knowledge of customer service and logistics issues.

Competent knowledge of ERP functions including data management and scheduling.
