Job Title: Security Guard

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to protect property against damage, fire, theft, and unauthorized entry. The ideal candidate will conduct periodic rounds of the premises, ensuring all entry points are secure and regulations are followed.

Responsibilities

Guard property against damage, fire, theft, and illegal or unauthorized entry.

Conduct periodic rounds about buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured.

Enforce regulations and ensure the observance of applicable laws.

Warn or evict people in the event of infractions.

Interview guests and employees to detect infringements and investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, and accidents or incidents.

Report irregularities to management.

Provide assistance for accident victims and handle emergencies.

Lift and move equipment or a person, or pursue and apprehend individuals if necessary.

Assist management and law enforcement officials in emergency situations.

Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professionalism.

Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.

Apply all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.

Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Attend training programs as designated.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.).

Driver's License required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Private security or public police experience preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
