Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an essential part of the logistics and operations department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Portsmouth, VA

Pay Range: $17.85

Shift: Mon - Fri, 10 AM - 6:30 PM

What's the Job?

Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system within the warehouse.

Operate forklifts, package and label customer orders, and utilize computer systems for processing receipts, putaways, picks, and replenishments.

Inspect incoming products and verify accuracy against shipping manifests.

Report inventory discrepancies to management for resolution.

Collaborate with QA teams to disposition incoming products effectively.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to perform basic math, read, understand, and follow written operating procedures.

Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand or crouch for extended periods.

Reliable transportation to work and availability for occasional overtime.

Ability to operate rolling pushcarts, electric forklifts, and manual pallet jacks.
