Overview

We are seeking a junior to mid-level associate with 3-5 years of regulatory experience in the online or land-based gaming space to join our market-leading Gaming practice. Our clients include many of the world's leading gaming operators, technology providers, and adjacent-market innovators.

You will support partners and senior attorneys in providing regulatory and compliance advice to leading gaming operators, technology providers, and innovators. You will be exposed to a broad range of matters in the online and land-based gaming sector, sports wagering, and emerging adjacent markets. Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on matters relating to state and federal gaming laws, regulations, and enforcement trends.

Review and analyze proposed product features and business models for compliance with relevant state and federal laws.

Engage with new and emerging verticals in adjacent or related markets.

Assist in preparing regulatory filings and supporting documentation for client licensing and approval processes.

Support senior attorneys in advising clients on multistate operational strategies and jurisdictional issues.

Collaborate with colleagues in other practice groups on cross-disciplinary matters, including transactional and litigation matters.

Engage in client meetings, calls, and pitches.

Qualifications

Three to five years of experience in gaming, sports wagering, iGaming, fantasy sports, or related fields (prior law firm, in-house, or regulatory agency experience will be considered).

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate should be highly motivated, eager to learn, proactive, communicative, creative and have an appreciation for the business of law.

Membership in the State Bar of the office where you wish to be based (or ability to become admitted promptly).

Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position starts at $260,000 to $365,000.
