Accounts Receivable Clerk

Our client, an industry leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Alachua, FL

Pay Range: $16

What's the Job?

Manage and process Accounts Receivable invoicing and related documentation according to company policies.

Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to AR functions, fostering positive relationships to support timely collections.

Ensure compliance with sales tax legal requirements for Florida and interstate transactions.

Maintain accurate and organized files in accordance with company and legal standards.

Post customer payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial records.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 1-year experience in accounting or related clerical roles, or an AS/AA in Finance or a related field preferred.

Knowledge of sales tax legal requirements for Florida and interstate transactions.

Ability to perform basic accounts payable duties as required.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
