Position Summary...
Help embed Environmental Compliance requirements into how Real Estate operations run, transition, and scale. In this role, you'll lead environmental compliance strategy across key real estate initiatives ensuring regulatory requirements are translated into clear operating practices, governance, and training. You'll serve as a connector between Environmental Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Real Estate partners, proactively managing risk, strengthening incident response, and ensuring facilities are compliant from conception to Day One.
About the Team
Our team integrates environmental compliance into real estate development, design, construction, maintenance, and closure activities to enable responsible growth and business continuity. We operate as strategic partners to Real Estate, Legal, and Environmental SMEs-bridging regulatory expectations with day to day execution. This role expands our ability to support operational readiness, maintenance and closure activities, vendor oversight, and monitoring programs while maintaining strong governance, documentation, and training foundations across the real estate lifecycle.
What you'll do...
Lead environmental compliance procedures and governance development for assigned real estate portfolios, verifying requirements are consistently embedded across all aspects of the real estate lifecycle.
Translate regulatory and environmental risk into clear policies, standards, operating practices, and training that enable the business to execute with confidence.
Partner with Environmental SMEs, Real Estate teams, and external stakeholders to anticipate risk, address issues, and drive practical and cost-effective compliance solutions.
Oversee monitoring, assurance, and incident response programs to identify trends, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement.
Deliver executive-ready insights, reporting, and recommendations that inform decision-making and drive accountability.
Partner with key stakeholders to reinforce a culture of integrity, ownership, and operational excellence.
What you'll bring...
Experience leading environmental compliance , regulatory, or governance programs within complex, operationally driven environments.
Strong ability to translate environmental laws, regulations, and SME guidance into scalable policies, standards, and real-world business practices.
Comfort working across the full compliance program lifecycle, including monitoring, issue and incident management, risk mitigation, and program enhancement.
Data fluency, with the ability to synthesize performance, trends, and risk indicators into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.
Proven cross-functional influence with legal, real estate operations, environmental subject matter experts, and external partners.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
